Tell us a little about yourself.
Born in southern New England, called to Maine as a young family, where my hsband was crippled in an accident, that took his life 3 1/2 years later. Called to Mexico leaving all behind in 1989, where my daughter grew up bilingual/multicultured... and in 2004 started working with Indigenas in suthern Chiapas as the Mexican team for an international ministry. Have been invited to take a teaching position in a restricted country next year, which I sincerly hope the Lord will bring to pass. After that...who knows???
What is your favorite Bible Verse?
Matthew 25:40
Genesis 4:10
2nd Chronicles /:14
What is your favorite book?
Bible
What is your favorite homemaking task? Why?
Preparing special celebration meals for family and friends...It gives me the opportunity to express my love for those invited through all the little details, cleaning, decorations, food preparation, the music and environment, and little favors. It's a gift of love.
Share your testimony with us.
Learned to love the Lord as a child, and always looked to save the defenceless, or weaker ones around me. Grew up interested in missios, and those who were willing to suffer persecution for their faith. Have worked with children, handicapped, retarded, in prisons, and lately with Indigenas who are persecuted for their faith in southern Chiapas. Have been her in Mexico for 20 years where the Lord called me as a young widow, with my 2 pre teen daughters. My testimony is one of pcking up and following my Lord where He would lead us, to touch others in His name.
Do you have any prayer requests?
Yes. My daughter, our best friend, and I are each at a crossroad in our lives, where the Lord is directing us in separate paths...and each one of us is seeking His specific will for us in our lives.

Alert: Escalating Drug Cartel Violence in Mexico/ Something very Evil and Wrong here!

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ...I'm forwarding on to you my recent answer to a young man on Godtube...who very innocently asked me how things are in Mexico. Since he is Catholic, we have discussed, sometimes heatedly, the cases of religious intolerance and persecution here in Mexico, which are normally, sad to say, Catholic against Evangelical/non-Catholic. I'll leave my response intact... my concerns and observations about the seriousness of the situation here, after 20 years being part o… Continue

Hi Linda, Wow you have had a lot of"things" happen in your life. I had some bad things happen early on in my life, but have not had to overcome anything like you have. The past 2 years I took care of my mother and comuted 150 miles away to my job, running a water cosnervation district. I did this until she passed away. My husband and daughter and I are now living in my mom & dad's house and living in it while we do the remodel (ourselves). My daughter is starting her senior year in high school. I love to cook, sew , knit and other craft things. I also have my own business. Bless you for all that you. Hope to hear from you soon.

My Dad is Stronger
